Astral is proud to celebrate 25 years since listing on the JSE.
We were honoured to mark this occasion alongside JSE CEO Valdene Reddy, together with our CEO Gary Arnold and CFO Johan Geel, joined by members of our leadership team and Board. It was a meaningful opportunity to reflect on our journey and the strong partnership we share with South Africa’s preeminent exchange.
Over the past 25 years, Astral Foods has grown into the best-cost integrated poultry producer in selected African countries, underpinned by operational excellence, sound governance, and the commitment of our people.
Astral listed in 2001 with a market capitalisation of R332 million and through strong consistent growth Astral now has a market capitalisation exceeding R11 billion.
